Tommy's Brewing Company is Trinidad & Tobago's first craft brewery, and provides a unique experience by blending quality craft beer & cider with freshly made food in a casual brewpub environment. All beers are brewed, kegged and bottled on site and many are available exclusively in our taproom. Our East Gates Trincity taproom is scheduled to open in April 2023.

About the Position

Tommy's Brewing Company is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Busser in our East Gates, Trincity taproom. Scheduling will be flexible but weekend hours are required. Our Bussers provide support where support is needed, throughout our restaurants. You will be expected to keep the restaurant clean and orderly for opening and during operating hours, and to assist with restocking, clearing tables/areas of the bar, running food/drinks, and assisting staff when necessary. An eye for detail and the ability to work with little guidance will go a long way. Energy, communication, and respect are critical to your success in this role!

Job Requirements:

• Work experience in a similar role or in the food service industry is a plus
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast paced environment
• Must enjoy working with the public in a positive, friendly manner.
• Must be an effective communicator.
• Clear Certificate of Character
• Must complete our Beer 101 Training Program

Job Duties Include:

•       Set up the taproom & restaurant in line with our company’s cleanliness standards
•       Communicate with Manager to maintain cleaning product inventories
•       Keep supplies neat and orderly
•       Assist in running multiple drinks on a tray to any section in the restaurant
•       Assist in running multiple plates in hand to any section of the restaurant
•       Assist in backing up the bar with supplies
•       Be able to answer any question a guest may have regarding food/beer
•       Assist in other needs as assigned
