Tommy's Brewing Company is Trinidad & Tobago's first craft brewery, and provides a unique experience by blending quality craft beer & cider with freshly made food in a casual brewpub environment. All beers are brewed, kegged and bottled on site and many are available exclusively in our taproom. Our East Gates Trincity taproom is scheduled to open in April 2023.
About the Position
Tommy's Brewing Company is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Cleaner at our East Gates, Trincity taproom. Scheduling will be flexible but weekend hours are required. The Cleaner is responsible to ensuring that our taproom and restaurant are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. The right candidate has a “can do” attitude, has attention to detail and enjoys working with people.
Job Requirements:
- Work experience in a similar role or in the food service industry is a plus
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety
- Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Must enjoy working with the public in a positive, friendly manner.
- Must be an effective communicator.

Job Duties Include:
- · Clean and supply designated facility areas
- · Perform various cleaning actions such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.
- · Perform and track routine inspections
- · Perform and track maintenance activities
- · Stock and maintain supply rooms
- · Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment
- · Maintain cleaning equipment and communicate any potential issues to Management
- · Identify cleaning supplies and notify Management when running low
- · Empty garbage and keep garbage areas clean and covered
- · Effectively communicate to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
- · Communicate effectively and courteously with co- workers
- · Other duties will be assigned as needed
