Role Summary

The Line Cook plays a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes that reflect our culinary standards. This position supports the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, cooking menu items to specification, and ensuring every plate leaves the line with care, accuracy, and pride.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other menu items using grills, ovens, fryers, and other equipment.
  • Follow portion sizes, recipes, cooking methods, and kitchen standards with consistency.
  • Maintain well-stocked line stations to support smooth and efficient service.
  • Portion, prep, and organize food items ahead of scheduled cooking.
  • Keep all work areas clean, sanitary, and organized, including equipment and storage spaces.
  • Ensure proper seasoning, breading, battering, and cooking techniques for all dishes.
  • Execute plating and garnishing standards accurately.
  • Store, label, and rotate products according to food safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and follow recipes.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the kitchen team.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift 10–30 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to exceptional service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including peak hours.
  • Experience in a full-service kitchen (6 months preferred).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
