Role summary
The Head Cook leads daily kitchen operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and teamwork. This role ensures every dish meets our standards, supports and guides the kitchen team, and maintains a safe, organized, and efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Quality & Kitchen Leadership
- Prepare and oversee the cooking of all menu items to consistent, high-quality standards.
- Maintain excellent taste, presentation, and portion control across all dishes.
- Train, schedule, and support kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive team culture.
- Assign daily tasks and keep all workstations clean, organized, and efficient.
- Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures, including regular safety checks.
Qualifications

Experience as a Head Cook, Lead Line Cook, or similar supervisory kitchen role.

Strong culinary skills and knowledge of varied cooking techniques and cuisines.

Proven leadership and team management abilities.

Understanding of inventory control and cost management.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen.

Valid Food Handler or Food Safety certification (as required).
