Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to join our. The Inventory Clerk will play a critical role in managing our inventory processes to ensure that all goods are received, stored, and utilized efficiently. This position is vital to maintaining our inventory's accuracy, supporting purchasing decisions, and ensuring that all items are available at optimal levels to meet our operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing: Assist in the purchasing process by maintaining accurate records of orders and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Receiving and Storing Goods: Receive, inspect, and verify the quantity and quality of goods delivered. Ensure that all items are stored appropriately and organized in the inventory system.
  • Inventory Count: Conduct regular and periodic inventory counts to ensure accuracy in stock levels. Report discrepancies and assist in resolving any variances.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize waste, prevent overstocking or shortages, and ensure the efficient use of resources.
  • Managing Par Levels:Maintain and adjust par levels for all inventory items to align with business needs, seasonal demands, and special events.

Qualifications:

  • Secondary School diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, purchasing, or a similar role in a bar or restaurant setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items, as required.
